I tried a new recipe for Sunday night dinner, we had street tacos with the below recipe. It was pretty darn good. Quick and easy—I like it!

CROCKPOT FLANK STEAK
Makes 4-6 servings

Double Recipe for Sunday Night Dinner
1 flank steak (about 1-1/2 lbs.), cut in half if you have a small Crock pot
1 Tbsp. oil
1 large onion, sliced
1/3 cup water
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown steak in oil. Transfer to crockpot. In the same skillet, sauté onion for a minute or two. Gradually add the water. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over the flank steak. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or until the meat is tender. Slice meat and serve with the onions.

Our Crockpot cooks fast, 5hrs and it was done!
