funny shirt

I was so sad when I saw that this shirt was sold out at threadless. I think we are all rhino’s trying to be unicorns!

Tayden’s 1

This lei smells magical. I forgot my camera so all I have of the birthday party is a picture of the lei I brought home with me. It was a marvelous party with yummy Hawaiian food, shaved ice, Paradise cake, a balloon man, cute little bento boxes and pictures of Taydens first year. It was just great. Tayden looked like he had a blast!

Tony passed his guards test today and I couldn’t be prouder. I’m not just proud of him for reaching his goal, I’m proud of the dedication he and my hubba-bubba had training for today. Every weekday since December my hubba bubba and Tony got up at 5:30 a.m. and swam at the YMCA to train for this test. Last year he passed by one second, this year he passed by twelve seconds. Proud, Proud, Proud, I am of all his hard work!

V-day recap

Cinnamon hearts

We went to the Honda Center to see the Globetrotters, security said I couldn’t bring my camera in because my lens was to long. I was annoyed, very annoyed and I had to take deep cleansing breaths and then I let it go.  The show was great. We laughed and cheered and did the YMCA. Good Times.

Finally,   the traditional bowling Valentines extravaganza! Yeah Baby.

Bowling tonight was Nana, Tony, Tony, Nick, and Joe. The cheering section included Auntie and myself. Bowling technique was entertaining.

I enjoy this holiday, it’s one of my favorites!

ivalentines tunes box

Tony’s Valentines box was an ipod with his real ipod and a speaker inside playing:

“I want candy”, Peanut butter jelly time”, and “Sugar, Sugar”. The glue didn’t dry quite right but the boy was happy, and the mom(me) was happy the boy was happy.

4:30 in the A.M. with moustaches

“All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt!”  ~Charles Schulz

I made 36 moustaches for Tony’s class, 22 for Nick’s class, and 22 for Joe’s class. Then I made some extra for my favorite staff members at the boys school. They were a hit! Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Sutton are the librarians and were nice enough to model the Valentine’s day treats. I got the chocolate mold from an online source: Bake it pretty. I wish I had bought two molds so it would have went a wee faster. I love how much fun the boys had today and how excited they were to laugh with their friends about the moustaches.
