Preparing for Whoville

Joe’s having a Whoville Christmas themed birthday party. We started preparing today. Auntie and I are going to decorate the inside of the house with butcher paper cut into circles and painted like ornaments. I’m trying to figure out what to make for roast beast….we have boat loads of decorations we bought 75% off during the after christmas sales for ouside.

I hope Joe has fun… a Christmas birthday is such a fun idea!

A year ago today

I was in New York City. Oh what fun.It reminds me of KROQ music…you never quite know whats going on but, it’s up beat and exciting! We went for a birthday, someone in the below picture turned a big number with a zero at the end. Man we zoomed around shopped SOHO, Midtown, Macy’s, 5th Avenue, ate at serendipity, lombardi’s pizza, and Clinton St Baking Company, we saw Wicked, went to the Frick Museum,   Central park, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center,  Grand Central Station, saw a Jewish parade.

Above:  Me at Central Park, Robin, Shirley and myself at Lombardi’s Pizza.

Below: People I don’t know. Oh that’s Spike Lee…I put him in the I don’t know him category because, well I don’t know him…you understand, right?

I love the feeling of being anonymous and in a big city like New York you feel it the minute you step off the plane, it’s nice to visit but home feels even better…
